Italy is my favourite travel destination. Growing up, I spent my summer holidays in Lucca, Tuscany, staying with family friends, and it always felt like a second home. Years later, I married an Italian – my husband Enrico – and now have even more reason to visit as we go and see his family every year in Veneto.
I’ve travelled Italy top to bottom in a motor home, road tripped around Sardinia, had countless days exploring Venice (which is only 30 minutes on the train from Enrico’s childhood home), and hiked the Dolomites with our toddlers. I never get bored of this beautiful country.
